The story picks up here as there is a battle between Ishida Mitsunari, an uptight and conservative, yet hardworking boy, and Tokugawa Ieyasu, the temporary school president who has lots of followers, fighting for the school president seat. We also see other famous figures as fellow students such as Ootani Yoshitsugu who is loyally following Mitsunari and Oichi, Nobunaga’s younger sister. King Dark Fleet is bored of ruling the Demon World and so he appoints a successor by the name of Yoshida. The demons are thrown into a rage when they realize that this Yoshida is a human boy. Cute demons begin to enter our world through a magic mirror, bent on killing Yoshida and taking the throne for themselves. Of course, the young boy has no idea of his new kingship and only has his limited magical powers to protect himself and his friend, Ageha.
The series ran in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1988 to 1990 as Jungle King Tar-chan, and then from 1990 to 1995 as New Jungle King Tar-chan. It first appeared as a short prototype story in the 1986 Autumn Special as Tar-san (ターサン). At first, the series was a simple gag manga parodying Tarzan with single chapter adventures. At this time most chapters were only 7 pages in length and were usually about Tar-chan protecting the peace of the jungle, Jane, and his animal friends, often with comedic results. After Tar-chan began, Super Jump became a monthly publication, and Tokuhiro ended Ken-chan and Chako-chan in 1990. Two years into serialization, the stories began to run 13-15 pages, New was added to the title, and the simple episodic gag premise were switched to a fighting manga premise. Although long battles and emotional development began to unfold, after the end of these battles, the series would return to its gag style, switching back to the fighting manga style with each new battle. Although the story is called Jungle King Tar-chan, Tar-chan and his friends actually live on a savanna, and a jungle setting is never actually used.

The carefree Toshiya Sakazaki inventor works in the company Kamata, engaged in the production of armaments. Divorced from Chisato Arita, who also works in the same company, Toshiya races against her to see who builds the better war robot. Although it has at its disposal a wide range of devastating attacks, Toshiya's error was introduced programs jokes forgetting the main program, the struggle, as Sayuri is not considered a weapon and Chisato advised to go to an institute high school to learn to improve its AI. The problems come when the company KKK (Kurahashi Kogyo Company of Kabushikigaisha = the company of the cap), a competitor of Kamata, try to destroy Sayuri. This infiltrate a spy, Misaki Hoshino, traps tend to Sayuri. And from there everything gets out of hand... because many parodies of anime, manga and japanese tv shows are just around the corner.
